These custom handrails are fabricated from high quality aluminum. Our available varieties include flat top as well as V top. Posts used are 3-inch square and you can choose between a pyramid caps or ball caps. Pickets available are 3/4-inch or 1 inch. Please reach out today for more information.
Our story began in 1997 in a small metal shop in Ashland, Virginia when Tracey started learning how to fabricate aluminum railings under the guidance of her stepdad, Bill Kelley. Working there until Bill's retirement in early 2007, she learned much from this extremely talented man.
The following year, we had the opportunity to start a railing company of our own. T-N-T Contractors quickly began serving customers all over central Virginia. We worked diligently for several years raising our two sons and running our business. Todd would measure and install the jobs, while Tracey built them. Todd has since taken the initiative to learn fabrication as well.
T-N-T Contractors has been creating beautiful, quality railings (and more!) for well over a decade and we hope to continue for many years to come!
Bill Kelley taught us everything we know about the metal handrail business. He was one of the most talented people we have ever known. His ability to create beauty from pieces of metal was extraordinary. Bill passed away in February 2020.
A favorite memory of his daughter, Tracey:
Once, when I was learning to weld, I asked him "Do you want it to look good, or do you want it to hold" to which he chuckled and replied "Well, I'd really like it to do BOTH!" We laughed.
